Some 7/8 armed men introducing police picked up two brothers from Purandopur village under Moheshpur upazila of the district On Saturday night.
The two brothers are : Zakir Hossain, 36 and Alomgir Hossain, 32 son of Abdus Sattar of Purandopur village under the upazila. They are flesh trader (butcher).
Zakir and Alomgir’s father Abdus Sattar said, some unidentified 7/8 armed men entered his house on Saturday night at around 1-00 am and dragged his two sons. Asked they introduced them as police. They told Sattar to meet at the police station on Sunday morning.
Abdus Sattar and his neighbor rushed to Moheshpur police station on Sunday morning but the told that they did not arrest any of his sons. They are not aware of the matter.
Similarly, Shajahan Khan the OC of Kotchandpur police station gave the same reply.
Parvina Khatun wife of Zakir Hossain told this correspondent that on Saturday night 7/8 armed men introducing police wearing plain dress swooped them from the house. They are not involved in any politics. They live by selling flesh by slaughtering cattle.
