A mobile court has fined Tk two lakh for raiding two illegal brickfields in Ishwardi. UNO and Executive Magistrate PM Imrul Kayes conducted the mobile court on Sunday (January 30) afternoon.
According to the mobile court sources, the mobile court raided Messrs. National Brix and Nabinagar Brix in Laxmikunda village of the upazila on the charge of violating brick laying and brick making laws. Meanwhile, the mobile court fined Shamsul Islam, proprietor of Messrs. National BRICS, Tk 50,000, Nurul Islam, proprietor of Nabinagar BRICS, Tk 25,000 and Asaduzzaman, another proprietor, Tk 25,000.
Mobile court judge PM Imrul Kayes said the crackdown on illegal brick kilns would continue.
