Cover unveiling ceremony of two books styled “Nagarik Budget 2014-15” and “Budget Review 2009-2013” was held at the Dhaka University Senate Bhaban on Wednesday.
DU Centre on Budget and Policy published the books, according to a press release.
DU Treasurer Professor M Kamal Uddin attended the ceremony as the chief guest with director of the centre Professor M Abu Yusuf in the chair. While addressing Prof Kamal said budget is not only account of government’s income and expenditure rather it is a development plan of the government.
He hoped that the two books will play important role for the government to prepare the next national budget.
