Rajarhat thana police in Kurigram recovered a floating dead body from a pond at Rajarhat upazila in Kurigram at around 11 am on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Amzad Hossain(45) son of late Akbar Ali of villageTaltola Paikpara in the upazila.Locals and police sources said the people found a dead body was floating in the pond of local Pacha Patwari in the morning and informed the matter to police.
Officer-in-charge of Rajarhat police station Krishna Kumar told that no symptoms of hurt was found in his body.
But the family members claimed that has had been suffering from mental disease for long. An unnatural death(UD) case was lodged with Rajarhat thana police. In another incident, Nageswari thana police recovered a youth dead body from a paddy field at Balatary area under Nageswari upzaila in Kurigram at noon on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Raja Miah son of Abul Hossain of village Holokhana under Kurigram Sadar upazila.Officer-in-charge of Nageswari police station Rowshan Kobir told that the body was sent it to Kurigram sadar Hospital for post mortem examination. It will be known after post mortem examination as it is killing or road accident. A preparation was going on to file a case with police, OC added.
