Milky murder case: Two accused confess guilt

Two accused in the murder case filed in connection with the killing of Juba League leader Reazul Haque Khan Milky confessed to a Dhaka court admitting their involvement in the murder.

Rezaul Karim recorded the confessional statements of the accused Aminul Islam alias Habib and Sohel Mahmud. As the recording of the statements were made amid secrecy, the incident of confession could not be known on Tuesday. However, it was known on Wednesday evening.
Two other accused Jahangir and Fahima Islam Lopa also made confessions to a court under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
On July 29 at mid-night, last year, terrorists killed Milky in the capital in connection with allegedly creating influence in the area.
The victim’s younger brother Major Rashidul Haque filed the murder case with Gulshun Police Station against 11 persons making Zahid Sidddiqui Tareque, the prime accused who was later killed in encounter. The identities of other accused were not disclosed in the First Information Report (FIR) of the case.
