Kotwali Thana police in a raid in Sharnatila area of the town yesterday morning arrested two absconding accused.
Being tipped off, police conducted the raid and arrested them. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Kotowali Thana, Priyatosh, said police picked up Chingchaiya Marma, 30, and Thuila Prue Marma, 24. The were convicted in a GR case and remained hiding since 2013. They were produced before Rangamati court today and the court sent them to jail, he said.
