Police rescued two abducted men in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar on Sunday night and arrested ten people including four women in this connection.
The arrestees are Monaj Mia, 35, his wife Asha Khatun, 30, Kuddus Mia, 38, from Kogagon village, Kismat Ali, 42, in Habiganj and Shafiqur Rahman, 45, Azar Mia (55), Liton Ahmad Rabbi (30), Saleha Khatun (52), Husna Begum (18) and Nasima Begum (26) in Langla Khas in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar. Two rescued are identified as Suleman Khandakar (33) and Zakir Hossain (36) staff of this Thai glass shop.
Police and rescued people said, on Friday, two members of the abductors group went to a Thai glass shop named Inter-Koli-2 in Ashulia Gazirchat area in Capital and bargain price with shopkeeper for making glass house. After bargaining Thai glass shop owner promised to do it in Kulaura Upazila town area. When the bargain was set, the shop staff Suleman Khandakar (33) and Zakir Hossain (36) came to the Kulaura with bus on Friday night to take measurements of the glass house with two members of the abductors team. After reaching Kulaura, abductors tried to trick them into a house in Longla Khas area and demanded 3 lakh taka of ransom. Abductors beat them seriously and ransom want as soon as possible. At one stage they fixed taka 2 lakh 10 thousands, said Jalal Uddin, Thai glass shop owner in the capital. Jalal Uddin sent money with bkash to 9 mobile numbers. Later on Sunday afternoon, the abductors released them at Kulaura Shyamoli bus counters in Kulaura Bus terminal in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar.

After released victims told the incident to Kulaura Shyamoli bus counter owner Rahel Ahmed.Later Rahel informed to Kulaura police station. Later, Md Shamim Musa, officer-in-charge of the Kulaura Police Station. Police arrested ten people, including four women. Kulaura Police Station OC Md Shamim Musa said that the group has been cheating in different parts of the country for a long time. Police operations are continuing to arrest their entire area.
