Tushar Imran, the most successful batter of domestic cricket competitions of Bangladesh will retire from all kinds of cricket competitions today. Experienced batsman Tushar Imran, who has played for Khulna Division in the National Cricket League will go to BKSP to announce his retirement from all sorts of cricket meet. The 37-year old who has been suffering from injury will formally announce his retirement from all sorts of cricket meets.
Tushar Imran said, ” I decided to announce my retirement this season. So, I formally announce my retirement tomorrow. I shall bade good-bye to domestic cricket competitions and international cricket meets. If I want, I can play another season. But it seems to me that it is the right time for me to retire from cricket.”
Tushar Imran scored 11 thousand and 972 runs in the First Class Cricket Competition. But there is a little chance for him to play today to fulfill 12 thousand runs in First Class Cricket Competition due to injury.
Tushar said, ” I could not play some matches due to injury. It seems to me I cannot play tomorrow. I want to score 12 thousand runs before my retirement. But everything does not go according to plan.”
He said, ” I have a desire to perform for the Bangladesh National Cricket team for an another terms. I performed my best in the domestic cricket to be included in the national side. But I was not called for national team. However, I have no regret that I did not get chance in the national side for another time.”
He also said, ” I have coached some youngsters as I have joined an academy. In future I shall do coaching.”
Tushar Imran scored 11 thousand and 972 runs playing 182 First Class matches. He hit 32 centuries. He made 63 half-centuries. His highest score is 220 runs. He is the most successful batsman in domestic cricket competition.
He played five Test matches and 41 One Day International (ODI) matches for Bangladesh National Cricket team. He scored 89 runs in his Test campaign. He scored 574 runs in his ODI mission. He hit two half-centuries. His highest score is 65.
