Umme Sifat Tuli, a student of English Department of Dhaka University (DU) and Farzana Akhter, a student of Public Administration Department of DU emerged joint-champions in the Annual Sports Competition of Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall of DU on Saturday.
Ishrat Jahan yeamun, a student of Social Science Department of DU became runner-up in the sports meet.
The sports competition was taken place at the Central Play Ground of DU on Saturday.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the sports meet as the chief guest.
After the sports competition, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of DU Professor Dr Sahid Akhter Hussain distributed the prizes among the winners.
Provost of Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall Professor Dr Farida Begum, the residential teachers of the Hall and the officials of the Physical Education Centre of DU were present at the prize-giving ceremony.
