6,233 spots fixed for slaughtering sacrificial animals

UNB, Dhaka :The Government on Thursday fixed 6,233 spots in the 11 city corporations and 53 district towns for slaughtering sacrificial animals during Eid-ul-Azha.Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain came up with the information while talking to reporters after a meeting at the secretariat.The Minister said, some 35-40 lakh animals would be slaughtered across the country and among those 7,16,940 animals in the city corporations during Eid. Besides, 4,885 Imams and 12,638 butchers have been selected...
