As part of increasing beautification and greenery of Dhaka University (DU), a tree plantation programme will be inaugurated today on the university campus.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the programme as the chief guest. The programme will be inaugurated on the premises of Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban at 11 am. Pro-VC (education) Prof Dr Nasrin Ahmad, Dhaka University Tree Plantation and Beautification Committee Chairman and Pro-VC (admin) Prof Dr Shahid Akhter Hussain and Treasurer Prof Dr M Kamaluddin, will be present as special guests on the occasion.
