Tree plantation programme was started in Jahangirnagar University through planting a sapling of Dhup tree on the campus.
JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the programme as the chief guest while Pro-VC Prof Dr. Abul Hossain, Treasurer Prof Dr. Abul Khair, Dean of Arts and Humanities faculty Prof Dr. Syed Md. Kamrul Ahsan and Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique were present as the special guests, among others.
