Former city mayor AJM Nasir Uddin, chairman of Chittagong Central Cooperative Bank Limited, said this at a tree plantation program inaugurated on Sunday.
He inaugurated the program by planting an orange sapling in the garden of the central office of the bank at Anderkilla Nawab Sirajdaula Road.
AJM Nasir Uddin said the Sheikh Hasina government is implementing various projects to address the adverse effects of climate change.
Not only in the country but also at the international level, the Prime Minister is representing the regions affected by climate change.
