President of City Awami League and former Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury said, the fulfillment of the demands of the transport workers should be ensured following the proper discussions of respective interests.
He was addressing the installation ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Dhum-Shuvapur Bus Minibus Human Hauler Owners Samity at Zila Parishad Hall in city on Monday as Chief Guest.
In his address, former Mayor congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the samiy and called them to ensure the rights of the owners and commuters and said it must be needed to ensure the rights of the workers, owners and the commuters.
President of Chittagong District Bar Association Anowarul Islam Chowdhury was the keynote speaker on the occasion.
