A weeklong training course on Research Methodology began at the Centre for Advanced Research in Humanities of Dhaka University here on Thursday. Teachers from various universities and researchers from different organizations are participating in the training course. DU Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad inaugurated the programme as the chief guest while Dean of the Arts Faculty Prof Dr Sadrul Amin spoke as special guest on the occasion.
Presided over by the Chairperson of the Centre Prof Dr Syed Manjurul Islam, Director of the Centre Prof Dr Pradip Kumar Roy delivered the welcome speech.
Speaking on the occasion, the pro-vice-chancellor Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad hoped that on completion of this course the trainees would be able to enhance their research capabilities. She further hoped that the knowledge and experiences gathered from the course will be beneficial for the participants in undertaking initiatives for advanced research in humanities. The training course will end on April 1.
