UNB, Narayanganj : At least five people were killed and 10-12 others injured in a collision between a train and a pickup at Rasulpur level crossing under Fatullah Police Station in Sadar upazila on Monday night. The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained yet. Sub-inspector Quddus Miah of Narayanganj Railway Police Station said the Narayanganj-bound train crashed into the pickup at the level crossing around 10:45pm as the vehicle approached the rail tracks while the train was passing through the area, leaving one passenger dead on the spot. Two others including a woman died on way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Later two more succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
