Train passenger held with gold bars worth Tk. 60 lakh

Railway Police(GRP) of Eastern Zone of Bangladesh Railway rounded up one suspected train passenger from Chittagong railway station on Sunday evening suspecting his movement in the platform.
Police recovered 12 gold bars each of 10 total approximate cost of Tk.60 lakh from his possession after charging his body. The gold trafficker identified as Adinath Dhar. GRP sources said suspected passenger Adinath was supposed to board in Chandpur bound Meghna express. The accused hailed from Harihar banikpara of Rangunia upazila, sources said.
 GRP officer incharge Himangshu Das told that Adinath was going to Feni by Meghna express taking these gold bars from a gold trader of Hazari lane in Chittagong.
