A housewife named Nahida Aktar Sampa (40) met her tragic end when her Orna (modesty scarp) was twisted with the wheels of a battery run easy bike (auto rickshaw) near LGED crossing at Dashani area in Bagerhat district town at Thursday night . It is learnt form the police and the locals that the deceased was the daughter of one late Alauddin Shikdar of Sonatala area in the same town.
At the night the ill-fated housewife was returning her rented house at Dashani area by an easy bike along with her 2 years old son from her elder sister’s residence and when she reached the place of occurrence her Orna was, somehow, twisted with the wheels of the easy bike and at one stage she fell on the road from it. Consequently, she lost her sense. She was immediately sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital where the physician on duty declared her dead. She left behind a 2 years old son and husband Asadul Alam Bepari now living in France to mourn her death.
