A student of Nayeemur Rahman Nadeem (17) was killed in a tragic road accident at the main gate of Fulbari Police Station in Dinajpur at 4 pm on Friday .
The deceased was identified as Naimur Rahman Nadim, a HSC examinee of the Humanities Group of Fulbari Shaheed Smriti Adarsha Degree College and , son of Nazrul Islam of Charbania village of Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur district.
Police ASI Mintu Mia said, while Naimur Rahman Nadim, along with his bicycle, from the local Dhaka More to the Nimtala More, the Dinajpur-bound Smriti Enterprise (Dhaka-Metro-T-13-5056) pushed the rear of the carvatvvan in front of the main gate of Thana Fulbari-Dinajpur regional highway. Nadim got knocked over the road. If he is taken to the Upazila Health Complex, he is declared dead. There he died. While the carvatvvan, the police detained the local Monima from front of Simena Hall. But the driver and helper escaped.
OC Sheikh Nasim Habib said, the body was kept at the Upazila Health Complex. The college student Nadim, who was killed, has been contacted. Family members will be prosecuted for legal action.
