Three potato traders were fined by a Mobile Court that conducted a sudden drive at different kitchen markets in the district town on Friday late afternoon . During the drive, Executive Magistrate SelinaAkter fined three potato traders at Wireless Bazar and Baburhat Bazar and realised from them an amount of Tk one thousand seven hundred taka as fine on charge of selling potato at higher rate, defying/ violating Govt rate.

Talking to the local newsmen, she said, mobile court would continue from now on to keep the price of potato and other items stable . Police officials were present at that time.
