But just with the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic in the world export of the crab has been stopped for more than last five months. As a result, on the one hand the government is incurring loss of several crores of foreign currencies and on the other hand, more than one lakh families of the district involved with crab industry suffered a huge loss of money and they have been forced to live a sub-human life.
