An motor parts Importer was slaughtered to death by miscreants at central Eidgah field in the town of Jashore district on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Mohidul Islam Safa, 38, son of Md. Nabisuddin of Dhannokhola village in Benapole port police station and the Motor parts Importer. He was the proprietor of HN enterprise.
Motaleb Hossain Tutul manager of the victim said two miscreants came by a motorcycle with a sharp weapons and hacked Mohidul’s neck with sharp weapons when he went to bring some photocopies from a store in the area around 8:00 pm and fled away. Local peoples rescued him and sent to Jashore General Hospital with critical condition where the Surgery Ward doctor Shamapado declared him dead.
Apurbo Hasan, officer-in-charge of Jashore Kotwali Police Station said On information, police visited the hospital and started investing the murder to find out the mystery about the death.
