At least two people were killed and 10 others injured as a tractor rammed into an auto-rickshaw on Kishoreganj-Nikli road Tuesday night.
The victim were identified as Rafiul (15) son of Nurul Islam in son of Nurul Islam in Sehara village of Kishoreanj Sadar and Md. Habib (45) son of Bachu Bhuiyan in Gaglail area in Sadar.
Local said that a tractor rammed into an auto-rickshaw in Korshakorial Brick field area of Nikli, leaving Rafi and Habibullah dead on the spot while other passengers of the auto-rickshaw were injured including driver.
Some of the injured passengers were admited to Kishoreganj 250 Beded General Hospital.
Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Khondaker Showkat Jahan said that we received on information police rushed to the spot, dead bodies recovered and tractor was seized while driver managed to flee. The dead bodies sent to mourgue for autopsy.
A case was field in this connection with Kishoreganj Model Police Station.
