As a model, Mumtaheena Chowdhury Toya performed all the music videos got popularity among the viewers. Those songs also got popularity in this regard. Specially Momtaz-rendered the song Local Bus and Protik-Pritom’s song Girlfriend created hype among the music-lovers and viewers. Toya is still enjoying her popularity for these two video songs.
Due to mismatch with the director, Toya did not work frequently in music videos. But at the end of this year, Toya performed as model in London expatriate singer Hasan Moon’s first song titled Hariye Jeona Tumi. Mousum Ahmed wrote lyrics of the song while Sajid Sarkar has composed its music. For the first time, Toya worked under Preety Dutta’s direction in the music video. Earlier, under her direction Toya performed as model in an online TVC. Saiful Islam Roman co-operated Preety for giving direction of the music video. Bishwajit Dutta was in DOP.
While performing as model in the music video Toya told this correspondent, “I really enjoyed performing as model in the video song. It seems something different from our traditional music video. Story of the video also attracted my mind. Earlier, I worked under Preety Didi’s direction, so I had full confidence on her work. Cinematographer is an important part while making any music video. Bishwajitda is really exceptional in this regard because his story-telling and expressions in case of direction are nice. Overall, it has become a nice work. I am very much optimistic about the music video. I believe this music video will catch the attention of the viewers at the end of this year.”
Toya also informed that shooting of the music video was done in different locations of Srimongal including Grand Sultan. After completing shooting, Toya yesterday returned to Dhaka. In the beginning of next year, this music video will be released in a YouTube channel. Round the December, Toya will be engaged with shooting of different dramas.
