Tougher action against question paper leakage: Minister

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Thursday said government will take tougher action against the persons, who will be found responsible for question paper leakage.
All agencies concerned have been asked to remain alert to check question paper leakage, he told a press briefing on Creative Talent Hunt-2017 at his ministry here.
Secretary of Secondary and Higher Secondary Division Mohammad Sohrab Hossain and senior officials of the ministry, among others, were present on the occasion.
The nationwide Creative Talent Hunt-2017 begun on March 13, aiming to unlock potential of the students at secondary and higher secondary levels.
Students of class VI to XII from government and non-government educational institutions across the country are participating in the competition.
The upazila-level competition will be held from March 18 to 20. While the district-level competition will be held on March 22.
The competition in Dhaka metropolitan will be held on March 23 while divisional-level competition will be held on March 28, said the minister.
The final round of the competition will be held on March 30.
Among the participants at national level, twelve students will be selected as the best talent. Each of the winners will get a scholarship of Taka 1 lakh and a certificate. All winners will also get the opportunity of an education tour to foreign countries, the minister added.
