A case has been filed in connection with the fire accident at Tampaco Foils Factory in Tongi of Gazipur district that claimed 34 lives so far.
A father of one of the victims filed the case on Sunday night, said Tongi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Firoz Talukder.
The plaintiff had accused the owner and seven other officials of the company as well as some unidentified persons, the police official said.
The identified accused are: Syed Mokbul Hussain, his wife Parvin, Managing Director Tanvir Ahmed, General Manager Shafiur Rahman, managers Monir Hossain, Samir Ahmed and Hanif, and Deputy Assistant Director Alamgir Hossain.
The accused have been absconding since the incident. Arrests are yet to be made, the OC said.
The fatal inferno broke out early on Saturday at the packaging factory from gas leakage.
Meanwhile, the Gazipur district administration has formed a five-member probe body to investigate the mishap.
According to Gazipur district administration, 10 people are still unaccounted for.
