Though popular film actress Toma Mirza is acting one after another in new movies but for the first time she got the opportunity to work in own liking story based role as heroine in a movie. She has recently finalised to act in a movie titled Jhum. Sumon will give direction of it. Toma yesterday confirmed the matter to this correspondent.
While talking about her new movie Toma Mirza told this correspondent, “I talked with director of this film before Eid about to work. After Eid when I was informed about its story I agreed to work. I was really impressed to hear its story which is to be revolves with my role in the movie. So, I am taking necessary preparation to work in this movie. I am very much optimistic about Jhum. Time will say what will be happened later.”
Meanwhile, though there was schedule to start shooting of Toma’s movie Papkahini against Emon on July 2 but it did not start. In last Eid, Toma Mirza acted in RB Pritom directed a play titled A Love Story against Jovan. She is also going to start shooting of Shahed Chowdhury’s movie Guptochar. Zayed Khan will be her co-actor in this movie. Therefore, Toma has already started shooting of Arif’s movie Kathgorai Sarat Chandra where Nirob is acting against her. Within very short time she will start shooting of Shahriar Nazim Joy’s movie Paap Kahini and Alam Ashraf’s Ke? Emon and Shahriaz will be her co-actors in these movies.
Toma Mirza got the National Film Award for acting Shahneoaj Cacoly’s Nodijon. Last year her four movies were released.
In last Pahela Boishakh, a new music video of Toma was released. Daughter of Mirza Abu Jafor and Fatema Begum Toma Mirza has been engaged with dancing when she was three and half years. Both of her parents are cultural minded so it was easier for her to be engaged with media.
Late MB Manik’s Bolona Tumi Aamar was Toma acted her first movie.
