The officials of Bangladesh Bank , Chittagong zonal office observed token pen-down strike on Thursday protesting the discrimination in 8th national pay scale and undermining the pay scale status of BB officials. The officials observed token pen-down strike inside the main gate of the BB .
A press release was issued by the striking officials saying that a memorandum was sent to Prime Minister on December 23 last to fulfill their demands and three charter of demands submitted through Officers Welfare council.
