Tofail leaves to join German-Australian Asia Pacific conference

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed left Dhaka on Thursday morning for Australia to attend German-Australian Asia Pacific Regional Conference.
Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will open the three-day conference tomorrow organized by the German-Australia Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Perth, a commerce ministry press release said.
On the sidelines of the conference, Tofail Ahmed would meet with Australian finance minister Mathias Cormann, former commerce minister Andrew Robb, Parliamentary state secretary of German economic and energy affairs federal ministry Uwe Beckmeyer and business delegations.
Government representatives and businessmen of different countries will attend the conference.
German-Australian Asia Pacific Regional Conference is a platform to discuss the politics and economy of Asia-pacific region.
