Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal
A views exchange meeting with the leaders and activists of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) was held at the residence of Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu at Bheramara in Kushtia. In the programme held recently Inu said that BNP had no trust in democracy or election rather they were out to use the democratic space to free war criminals, convicted criminals and create an unstable situation. The minister also President of JSD said BNP was trying to use the poll as a bargaining chip to get its Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia released. “This was not possible as she had been convicted by a court of law,” he added. Later, he addressed a workers’ meeting at Parankhali Secondary School grounds. The minister called upon the party leaders and activists to work unitedly for the welfare of common people in the area.
