The annual budget of Kulaura municipality of Tk 50,04,64,179 for 2018-19 fiscal year was announced on Wednesday.
At presence Mayor of the Municipality Shafi Alam Yunus the budget was announced by Municipality Secretary Saradindu Roy at the Municipality Auditorium.
In the budget, revenue income was shown Tk 3,89,44,179 and revenue expenditure Tk 3,40,78,386. In the budget revenue, surplus from the general section was shown Tk 48,65,793. On the other hand, development section income was shown Tk 46,15,20,000 and revenue expenditure Tk 46,15,20,000.
Officer In charge Md Shamim Musa was present as Chief Guest on the budget announcing meeting while Upazila Health officer Md Nurul Hauque, Zilla Parishad Member Minik Miah, Panel Mayor Joynal Abedin Bachchu, Councilor Ikbal Ahmed Shamim, Kaiser Arif, Monjurul Alam Chowdhury Khukon, Md. Harunur Rashid, Lukman Ali, Rassel Ahmed Chowdhury, Rabeya Begum, Anwara Begum, Dilara Begum, Kulaura Journalist Society president Muktadir Hussain, Secretary Najmul Islam, journalist Shakir Ahmed and staff of the municipality, local elite and journalists were present in the programme.
