Police destroyed seized smuggled narcotic items worth Tk3.41 crore on the police lines compound of the district town on Wednesday.
The law enforcers seized the narcotic items while those were being smuggled into Bangladesh from India through different border points of the district.
The contrabands include 34,009 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup, 2,807 kilograms of hemp, yaba tablets and heroin and different types of liquor.
The items were destroyed on the police lines compound in the afternoon in presence of Chittagong range DIG of police Shafiqul Islam.
