Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railway and lawmaker of Raozan constituency ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP distributed relief materials among the Rohingya refugees at Balukhali High School ground in Ukhia Upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Wednesday evening .
These large quantities of relief materials were sent from Raozan Upazila on behalf of Raozan Awami League with stern supervision of ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP .
Moreover the dynamic legislator also escorted the relief convoy to Ukhia in the morning duly accompanied by the Upazila Chairman Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury Babul , Raozan UNO Md Shamim Hossain Reza and leaders of the ruling party and its front organizations of Raozan. Minister for Road Transport and Bridges and General Secretary of AL Obaidul Kader MP graced the occasion of relief distribution programme as Chief Guest.
Former State Minister for Local Govt Ministry Jahangir Kabir Nanak MP , Organising Secretary of AL Enamul Hoque Shamim, local legislator of Cox’s Bazar Saimum Sarwar Kamal MP, Raozan UZ chairman Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury , Deputy commissioner of Cox’s Bazar Ali Hossain, Private Assistant Secretary to Prime Minister Md Saifuzzaman Sekhor , President and the General Secretary of the Cox’s Bazar District Awami League , young energetic political personality Faraz Karim Chowdhury graced the occasion as special guests duly presided by the lawmaker ABM Fazle Karim.

The chief guest in his brief deliverations in the distribution programs said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working for the humanity and welfare of the people as such he gave shelters of the Myanamar tortured Rohingya community in Bangldesh which is the best example of humanity and peace. He also said with the clarion call of the Prime Minister, Raozan lawmaker ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhry responsed instantly to help facilitate the relief operations for safe of humanity.
The minister also hoped for achieving the Novel prize for peace in next coming days by our dynamic Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her praiseworthy services for the humanity and peace across the world.
About 200 metric tons of essential commodities worth about Tk.2.5 crores distributed to the Myanmar escapee Rohingya refugees .
It is learnt under the leadership of the local legislator Fazle Karim MP these relief goods were procured locally . The relief materials include 175 tons rice, 2 lac pcs of OR saline, 1.5 lakh paracetamol tablets, 12thousand milk-powder packets, 12 thousand bottles of tooth powder. 5 tons lentils, one thousand tents, 10000 pieces of new clothes, 11 lakh biscuit packets, 30 thousand tea leaf packet, 24 thousand glucose D , 12thousand pcs of soap, 18 thousand bottles of mineral water, 1,028 mugs, 1025 buckets , 1028 mosquito curtains, 5 thousand household untensils including rice. plate , glass , sugar and essential items.
