Bangladesh University Engineering and Technology (BUET) has approved Taka 188.01 crore and 96,000
budget for fiscal year 2014-2015.
University Syndicate okayed the budget at a meeting held on June 25 with vice chancellor and chairman of the Syndicate Prof S.M. Nazrul Islam in the chair.
The meeting also passed a revised budget of Taka 139.02 crore and 50 thousand for the 2013-2014.
This year, BUET authorities will spend a total of Taka 98.74 crore from revenue Budget, 35.93 crore and 50 thousand from capital fund and 4.35 crore for development budget, the release added.
