Chittagong City Corporation has been allocated fund for Tk.157 cr from JAICA fund of Japan for development of Port connecting Road and Agrabad Access Road in city .
City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin disclosed it while discussing the matters of road development and waterlogging with the Engineers at Nagar Bhaban on Tuesday . In the exclusive meet, City mayor discussed the progress of the ongoing development works and evaluated the under completion works. In the meeting city mayor said under the project City Governance Project JAICA allocated Tk.157 cr viz. Tk.194cr for 2 km long port connecting road and Tk.53 cr for 2 km long Agrabad access road. In the meantime, corporation has already finalise the process of tender floating for these projects , he added.
City Mayor in the meeting has directed to start the work of these road by next one month. Among others, Secretary Md. Abul Hossain, chief revenue Officer Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Chief Engineer Lt. Col. Mohiuddin Ahmed, Superintending Engineer Rafiqul Islam and other Excutive Engineners were present in the meeting, a CCC sources said.
