Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members seized a truck and recovered smuggled Indian black salt, white salt, Saree, three pics, cosmetics and Medicine worth TK. 1 crore 50 lakh at Amrakhali area under Benapole port police station on Friday night.
Salim Reja , Commanding officer, 49 Border guard Battalion said, on secret information, a team of BGB raided the area at 10:00pm and seized the items worth Tk 1.50 lakh. Nobody was arrested in this connection. The seized goods were deposited to Jashore customs go down.
A case was filed in this connection.
