A Dhaka court on Tuesday directed the Investigating Officer (IO) to interrogate Awami League leader of Motijheel unit Zahidul Islam Tipu at jail gate in Jubo League leader Milky murder case.
Magistrate Anwar Sadat of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order rejecting both remand and bail petitions.
Earlier, a 10-day remand was sought for Tipu in the case.
On July 30, 2013 Riazul Haque Khan Milky, an Organising Secretary of Dhaka city (South) Jubo League, was shot dead in front of a shopping mall in the capital’s Gulshan area.
