Tipu urges ADB for more cooperation

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Tuesday urged the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to increase cooperation in implementing the development works in Bangladesh.
The minister made the call while ADB Country Director in Bangladesh Manmohan Parkash met him at his secretariat office here. Mentioning that Bangladesh is now able to implement mega project successfully, he said development work is being finished on time and Bangladesh has become a role model of development globally. Expressing his hope that ADB’s cooperation would increase further in future, Tipu Munshi said Bangladesh would graduate from LDC’s in 2014 and turn into a developed country by 2041.
