Kishoreganj Distirct Police chalked out a plan for special security during the Durga Puja in 13 upazilas and 8 municipalities of Kishoreganj. Police and agencies arranged a special law and order conference ahead of the Durga Puja at Police Office conference room on Thursday noon.
Police Super (SP) Md. Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) presided over the meeting.
Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) said that foolproof security has been been taken in the district town and 13 upazilas centering the Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the country’s Hindu Community”
Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled also urged the Puja arrangement committee leaders to install close circuit cameras and metal detectors in the mandaps.
To avoid any unwanted incidents, Administration will deploy Additional Police, RAB forces on this day.
Durga Puja will be held in every mandap in accordance with the health rules due to COVID-19 SP added.
