Three national women footballers fly for Maldives today

Three players of Bangladesh national women’s football team -Sabina Khatun, Sabina Akhter and Mirona-will fly for Male today (Tuesday) afternoon to play in the FAM Women’s Championship 2015 in the Maldives.
All the three Bangladeshi players will play for Maldives Security Forces team –Dhivehi Sifainge Club–from May 24 to June 12.
On the eve of their departure, the three Bangladeshi players at a press conference at the BFF House on Monday said they are extremely happy to have a chance to play in overseas tournament and they will try to perform their best in Maldives.
Deputy Chairman of the BFF Women’s Committee Mahfuza Akhter Kiron informed the pressman that Sabina Khatun will receive US Dollars 1200 and the rest two Bangladeshi players will get US Dollars 600 each in addition to both way air passages and local accommodations.
BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag was also present at the press conference.
Sabina Khatun was the first Bangladeshi eves booter played in an overseas tournament-Club Maldives Women’s Futsal Fiesta 2015-for Maldives Police team in last March and April with good reputations.
She emerged as the most outstanding player of the tournament scoring 37 goals in six matches.
