Law enforcement members arrested three persons with a sharp weapon and 283 bottles of contraband phensidyl from city’s Baizid and City Gate areas on Sunday.
The arrested were identified as Shah Alam, 30, Abdur Rahman, 28 and Mizan Hossain Chowdhury, 45. Being informed, Baizid Thana Police arrested Mizan with a sharp dagger around 12.30 pm when he was attempting to attack some employees of a land developer company demanding money from them in Mozaffar Nagar area under the police station.
