Three students of Shaheed Ramizuddin Cantonment College yesterday testified in the murder case in connection with the death of two students of the college on July 29.
Metropolitan Sessions Judge of Dhaka KM Imrul Kayes recorded deposition of the three witnesses and fixed today for recording the depositions of other witnesses.
The witnesses were Sohel Rana, Mehedi
Hasan Sagor and Mehedi Hasan Jibon. With them the total number of witnesses rose to 10. Earlier, seven persons testified in the case.
The accused persons are- proprietors of two Jabale Noor buses Shahadat Hossain and Jahangir Alam, two drivers of the buses Masum Billah and Jubaer Sumon and two drivers helpers- Enayet Hossain and Kazi Asad. Of them Shahadat Hossain’s owned the bus that slapped and killed the two students. Both the students died on the spot on the Airport Road, near the college. Other 15-20 students were injured in the incident. The bus fell on the students. The students were waiting for bus.
Slain Mim’s father Jahangir Alam lodged the case on July 29 (night).
