For the first time legendary actress Sharmily Ahmed, popular film actress Parvin Sultana Diti, TV actress Elora Gauhar and Lux star Ishana performed together in a special day’s TV play.
The play, produced under the banner of Impress Telefilm Ltd, has been made to air on the occasion of upcoming Mother’s Day.
With the demand of the story of the play a newcomer named Pinu will also be seen along with them. Title of the play is Tumi Aamar Maa.
This play was directed by actress Parvin Sultana Diti. By this play Diti has given direction of four plays till now. With the script written by Rumman Rashid Khan shooting of the play was wrapped up on April 28.
Main story of the play Tumi Aamar Maa revolves with a life-story of a film superstar (Diti).
While asking about the play its director and also actress Diti told this correspondent, “I couldn’t complete the work according to my planning because besides giving direction, I had to act in the play. For this reason, in future, if I would give direction I will not act in that play. On the other hand, the performers who had acted in the play have performed outstandingly well. I think viewers will enjoy the play.”
Sharmily Ahmed shared her feelings by this way, “As a director, Diti is very choosy. She has made the play very sincerely. All of the performers (including me) have tried their level best to give a good play on International Mother’s Day.”
Another actresses of the play, Elora Gauhar and Ishana also shared their feelings in same way.
It may be mentioned that actress Diti first made a TV play titled Khunsutike Dilam Chhuti. Later she made another play titled The End.
In 2012, she last made a play titled Bhalo Thakis Maa on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
On the other hand, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, Sharmily Ahmed also performed in a special programme, which will go on air on Channel i.
However, Elora Gauhar again became engaged with acting after returning from USA recently.
Elora acted Nabil Ashraf directed movie titled Rongdhonu is waiting to release soon, Elora said.
Meanwhile, Ishana recently finished shooting of Anonyo Emon directed a TV play titled Cactus.
