6 state-run mills to continue sugarcane purchase

Business Desk :The six sugar mills, out of 15 under Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC), will not crush sugarcanes this year.However, these mills will purchase sugarcanes supplied by the growers of certain catchment areas.The decision was taken by the inter-ministerial meeting held virtually on Sunday.
