The 57th AGM of Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) Ltd was held at Hotel Peninsula, Chittagong on Monday. The AGM approved 790 percent cash dividend for the year 2017. The company had 10.31 percent sales growth over 2016. This growth primarily resulted from its power brands – Dettol, Harpic, and Veet. A good number of shareholders attended the AGM. Among others, Managing Director Vishal Gupta, Independent Director C.Q.K. Mustaq Ahmed, Director Syed Tanzim Rezwan, Chief Financial Officer and Director Sourav Mitra and Company Secretary Md Nazmul Arefin were present.
