Tex Style BD Limited became champions of the 6th Raman Lamba Daulat-uz-Zaman Trophy Twenty20 Cricket Tournament defeating ACC Amigos by 16 runs in the final at the BUET Ground on Saturday.
Sent into bat first, Tex Style BD Limited piled up a mammoth total of 161 for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs and then restricted ACC Amigos to 145 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.
Joy of Tex Style BD Limited top-scored with 53 and his teammate Alomgir made 38 runs and their teammate Jamal Babu scored 18 runs.
Sujan and Aslam of ACC Amigos bagged a pair of wickets each at the cost of 16 and 33 runs.
Besides, Summon, Rimon and Hafiz took one wicket apiece.
Later, Rashed of ACC Amigos made 32 runs and his teammate Sanjoy scored 31 runs and their teammate Shoeb hit 27.
Jamal Babu of Tex Style BD Limited captured three wickets at the cost of 26 runs.
Ashraful and Choton of the winning team claimed a couple of wickets each for 13 and 31 runs respectively.
Jamal Babu of BD Tex Style Limited was adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
After the final match, former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
