Tex Style BD Limited and ACC Amigos Club won their respective matches of the Raman Lamba & Daulat-uz-Zaman Twenty20 Cricket Tournament on Saturday.
In the day’s first match, Tex Style BD Limited defeated Gulshan Youth Club by eight wickets at Jagannath Hall Ground in Dhaka University.
Chasing Gulshan Youth Club’s 110 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs, Tex Style BD Limited sailed home in 14 overs making 111 for the loss of two wickets.
Joy of Tex Style BD Limited hit 49 runs. He was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Himal of Tex Style BD Limited scored 29 runs.
Earlier, Sharek of Gulshan Youth Club scored 19 runs, while his teammate Tanzim knocked 18 runs and their teammate Ishtiaque remained unbeaten with 17.
Saiful of Tex Style BD Limited grabbed three wickets at the cost of four wickets while his teammate Jamal Babu bagged a couple of wickets instead of 17 runs.
In the day’s other match, ACC Amigos Club recoded an easy seven-wicket victory over Dhaka Indian Club at the same venue.
Batting first Dhaka Indian Club scored 119 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, ACC Amigos Club reached the winning spot in 14.5 overs making 122 for the loss of three wickets.
Nayeem of ACC Amigos Club top-scored with 55 runs. He was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding batting performance. Soaeb of ACC Amigos Club made 30 runs, while his teammate Rashed remained unbeaten with 22.
Gaurav of Dhaka Indian Club top-scored with 48.
Rimon of ACC Amigos Club captured three wickets instead of 19 runs, while Nabed and Sujan bagged a couple of wickets each.
