President and Secretary of Chougachha Press Club were attacked by terrorists in Jashore on Friday. The attack was carried out by 10/12 terrorists led by Ziaur Rahman Rintu, an Upazila Sachasabok League leader and accused in multiple cases including murder.
The President and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League criticized the attack.
Local said, president of Upazila Awami League freedom fighter SM Habibur Rahman and general secretary Mahedi Masud Chowdhury wished to give flower with journalists of Chaugachha Press Club at the Bangabandhu Mural. At that time, 10/12 terrorist including Amedul Islam, led by Ziaur Rahman Rintu, the convener of the Upazila Shechasebak League and accused in half a dozen cases, attacked the journalists.
