Tender deer died in Sharankhola

A spotted tender aged deer that entered into the human habitations of Sharankhola Upazila in Bagerhat district recently after crossing the river Bhola that separates Sundarbans from the human habitations of Sharankhola Upazila could not survive after taking back it to Sharankhola Forest Range Office. It died in the forest office Monday mooning after a lng 20 hours while it was undergoing treatment. It was confirmed by Md. Asaduzzaman, ACF (Assistant Conservator of Forest), Sharankhola Forest Range.
 It is learnt from the forest department that the ill-fated minor deer entered into Sonatala village on Sunday. But it was caught by the villagers and informed the forest department of the matter. Then the forest guards recovered the deer from the house of one Sagir Gharami of Dhalirghop area of Sonatala village and took it back to Sharankhola forest Range Office under the Eastern Division of Sundarbans in Bagerhat district. Then it looked very tired and pale. Later, veterinary physician rushed to the spot and it was undergoing treatment. But in spite of that it expired after long 20 ours.
Md. Asaduzzman, Station Officer of Sharankhola told, as per the direction of the Higher Authorities the dead body of the deer dumped into the ground of Sharankola foist office premises.
