The construction work of the temple of Benimadhab Ashram at Santahar in Adamdighi upazila of Bogra has been inaugurated at a cost of Tk 10 lakh allocated by the Ministry of Religion and Hindu Welfare Trust.
Sirajul Islam Khan Raju, Upazila Chairman and UNO Sraboni Roy inaugurated the construction work on Sunday noon.
A discussion meeting was held at Benimadhab Ashram premises under the chairmanship of Sushil Ghosh. Sirajul Islam Khan Raju, Upazila Chairman and President of Upazila Awami League addressed the meeting as the Chief Guest. UNO Sraboni Roy spoke as the keynote speaker.
Among others, Upazila Mahila Vice Chairman Salma Begum Champa, Joint Secretary of Upazila Awami ‘League Sadedur Rahman Champa, Santahar Municipal Councilor Georges Alam Ratan, Humayun Kabir Badshah, Ala Uddin, President of Municipal A’League Abul Kashem, President of Upazila Puja Celebration Parishad Asit spoke.
